The tenth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks will be a time of profound significance not only for those who lost loved ones, but also for the general public in the United States and the entire world community. In the year leading up to the 9/11/11 commemoration, the members of September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows welcome the opportunity to share our views and talk about the projects we've undertaken over the past decade to highlight alternatives to terrorism, political violence and war.
911 Stories: Our Voices, Our Choices will serve as an introduction to our members, to our allies and to the broad scope of our efforts. We will relate what we have learned as a result of our losses, and what we have gained by reaching out to the rest of the world. We hope that the stories you find here will be brought to a wider audience as we approach this critical anniversary, and that they will serve as a source of hope, inspiration and new ways of envisioning our world.
